The 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion has been conducting training in Arma 3 since February of 2014, and is also formerly known as the 5th Ranger Battalion from the Arma 2 Modification Invasion 1944 as well as Darkest Hour. We are performing joint operations as well as assisting with TvT/PvP scenarios.

We've enjoyed the previous scenarios we've ran with the 29th and look forward to more in the future.

    On June 19th, 2015 the MARSOC command officially established its units as Marine Raiders. Bringing back the past legacy of the Marine Raider origins in World War 2. The Marine Special Operations Regiment and its Battalions are now know as:

    The Marine Special Operations Support Group and its Battalions are now know as:

    Marine Raider Support Group-

    It has been a little over a month since the name change and I believe its time we follow suit in order to accurately portray the name of our moniker. As of today the 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion Arma 3 Realism Group will be deactivated and reactivated as the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion Arma 3 Realism Group. The changes on our media, site, ts, and in other communities will take some time to establish but you should see the changes happening within the next month!
