I love Canada, but sometimes I feel left out of a lot of cool history. Like, I live next to subdivision that were built in the 80s, and the oldest buildings within 100km of me are from like the 1850's. You live next to a friggin castle.
Boston Stump that's half an hour drive from where I live. No idea why it's called the stump but from the top of Tattershall Castle on a clear day you can see this building.
And the cathedral in the opposite direction in Lincoln.
PFC Zenhenko if you want some good historical buildings in Canada you'll need to hit the East Coast. The Maritimes have a bunch of really cool forts etc. including:
Fortress Louisbourg in Cape Breton. (Sadly only a fraction of the original fortress remains)
Fort Anne in Annapolis Royal
Signal Hill in St. Johns
Plus the first known Western settlement in the Americas (pre-dates Columbus by at least 500 years) at L’Anse aux Meadows also in Newfoundland
